In early 2006, Newport Business Branding was born. Now, just a few short years later, the company has transformed itself into Newport Business Media to better reflect the direction the company is taking.

After spending 20 years in the hospitality industry (11 with Keg Restaurants), and the birth of his son Matthew, John decided it was time for a change.

Throwing caution to the wind he decided to try his hand at what he had always wanted to do. Be self-employed in a field he knew and understood. After close consultation with his current boss (OK, wife) it was decided that a new venture was needed. After months of research and careful consideration....Newport Business Branding was born.

From Newport Business Branding came the realization that the business landscape was changing. More and more businesses want to have their products and services exposed to as many people as possible, as quickly as possible, without going through current marketing venues.

And so Newport Business Media was born. From viral campaigns on youtube, Facebook and mySpace to corporate communication tools such as trade videos, commercials, PSAs and training videos for large corporate clients, Newport realized that a simple logo and ad in the yellow pages was no longer considered 'marketing'.

John leads the multimedia division of Newort and is building a team of marketing experts that will take your brand and put it infront of your target audience. Feel free to contact John with your maketing needs.
